About us
AVA’s mission is to promote and preserve the Venezuelan ethnicity among its members and the Austin community. AVA does so, by fostering organizing cultural exchanges, by promoting educational and leadership programs and by fostering moral values, human rights and liberties.The purpose of the Association is to aide and promote the integration of Venezuelan citizens residing in Austin, TX through social, cultural, and recreational activities that allow the dissemination and preservation of the values and traditions of Venezuela. It is the intent of this organization to serve as guide and assistance to the Venezuelan Community in Austin and to Texans residents in Venezuela. AVA strives to make its programs available to all members without regard to race, creed, or nationality.
